  1. Cole-

To pray is to contemplate, to contemplate requires understanding and comparison. I can understand “young woman” “laying in a coma in a hospital” but to pray on this would be similar to pray upon something I saw in a movie.

I *want* to pray for this person, please, for the sake of this poor woman, furnish me with something to understand and compare. you can do it privately if that suits you better. thank you, sincerely.

p.s. sorry if this all sounds like jackassery. In truth, I am quite sincere.

  2. Um, actually, I feel the same way as Silas. What happened? -anna

  3. Que?

  4. What is a sphinge?

  5. How dear you sjh to not agree to pray for this young woman, even if you do not know her. People pray for others in different parts of the world even if they have never laid eyes on them. You should have more of a heart.

  7. I knew Brenna… I went to high school with her…

  8. When people pray for eachother in other parts of the world, they still know what the heck is up there. If there’s a big tsunami or somthing in the pacific and a bunch of people are hurt, we pray for them because we know that they are hurt.

  9. Oh Cole, that is so sad about your friend Brenna–Elaine and I will pray for her and light a candle…we wish you good night good sleep. love aunt nona

  10. I went to school with Brenna she would always offer to hang out with me in her car before school started and gave me rides home when it rained. I was fortunate enough to do a school play with this wonderful girl…

  11. I still miss her every single day, no matter how many months go by.

  12. She’ll be dearly missed… it is a sad story that so many people never got the chance to know Brenna… I’m thankful that I got the chance even if it only was for one week in D.C.

  13. OHH brenna, God Bless you :-( I am so sad for what happend.

  15. Always thinking about you Brenna, I miss you dearly.

  16. I spent many years with this beautiful, young lady. She was such a wonderful, kind and fun soul. It truly pains me to know that this world continues without Brenna physically being part of it, although I feel she is here in those of us that knew her.

Brenna, wherever you had ended up, know that there are many beings here thinking about you, missing you, and desperately desiring that you were here. You were a fellow IB student, but I mainly got to know you through swim team and theatre class…I was in theatre when I heard what had happened, and I was able to handle the pain of losiing you with others who were feeling the same way. You had so much goodness to give, and it truly hurts that your life was taken before you were able to reach your highest peak (which would have been blinding!!!)

I feel as though praying isn’t necessary, at least for Brenna – I believe that she is in a warm, loving and fantastic place…the sadness and prayers should be sent for those of us left behind on this earth, to live here with the absence of such a beautiful being.

Brenna, you were taken before your time – if I could switch places with you, I would, for the kindness you could have continued bringing to this world would have been exponential. Earth and all its creatures lost one of the best beings it has been given, and I hope wherever you are, you know you are loved and missed – and that you left a wonderful imprint on all of those that you knew.

Life can be so unfair, cruel and without reason…and you’re one of its undeserving victims. I love you and miss you Brenna; please know that I think of you often and that you’ve given me extra fuel to bring more beauty and kindness to this earth.

    Love,

One who loves you and wishes you were here
